How do I Add, Edit or Delete a User Occupation?


User occupations in Onos help classify users by their role or trade (for example: Site Manager, Electrician, Labourer, Engineer). These occupations are used to support reporting, workforce tracking, and project data consistency across the platform.


Adding a User Occupation

Occupations can be created by Admin-level users who have permission to add users.

To add a new occupation:

  1. Navigate to Admin → Users→ Add Users.
  2. Locate the Occupation field in the user details section.
  3. Enter the occupation name using the **+ Add Occupation **if it does not already exist.
  4. Save the user profile.



Editing or Deleting a User Occupation

If you would like to edit or delete an occupation listed in the system, please submit a request to the Onos Support Team.

Once the occupation has been updated or removed, the changes will be reflected in the User Profile Occupation dropdown.
