September 2026
We are pleased to share the latest Onos product updates, with improvements focused on protecting work in progress, making information easier to access and improving performance across key areas of the platform.
🚀 Onos Platform Release Notes
This month’s updates include:
• Autosave on forms
• Incident Forms
• Return of Click-through links on High-Level Cards
đź’ľ Autosave on Forms
Autosave has been introduced on questions, helping protect information while users complete forms in Onos.
Progress will be saved automatically as users work, reducing the risk of information being lost if they leave the page unexpectedly or experience a temporary loss of connection.
What this means for you:
- Better protection for work in progress
- Less risk of losing information before submission
- A smoother experience when completing longer forms and navigating between sections
Admin next steps:
No setup is required. We recommend letting relevant users know that their progress will now be saved automatically on supported forms.
You will see a green tick saving the information as you progress through the forms.
📝 Incident Forms
Work is continuing on the new Incident Forms format, providing a more flexible and consistent way to capture the information required throughout the incident management process.
To support a smooth transition, we will work directly with customers to migrate their existing incident data into the new format. Training and guidance resources will also be provided as part of each customer’s rollout.
What this means for you:
- More flexible incident data capture
- A more consistent incident management process
- Support with migrating existing information
- Training resources to help teams adopt the new format
Admin next steps:
No immediate action is required. We will contact customers directly to plan migration and provide the relevant training resources.
đź”— High-Level Card Links
Click-through links are back on High-Level Cards by popular demand.
Following the recent redesign of filters across Onos, users can once again select a High-Level Card to open the relevant records behind its headline figure. This makes it easier to move from a summary view into the information that needs to be reviewed or actioned.
What this means for you:
- Faster access to the records behind headline figures
- Easier navigation between summary and detailed information
- A more direct route from insight to action
Admin next steps:
We recommend letting relevant users know that these are back in place to use on the list pages.
✨ Additional Improvements
Alongside the main updates, we have also delivered a number of smaller improvements to help streamline workflows and improve the user experience across Onos.
- Table Settings and column resizing have now been added to more list tables across the platform.
- Secure links in PDF exports allow end users to access attached information more quickly without additional verification hurdles.
- Additional dashboard charts have been added to provide more ways to visualise key information.
- Improvements have been made across Supplier Documents, Training Documents and PQQs.
- Additional Action date filters make it easier to differentiate between created, due and closed-out dates.
- Form performance has been enhanced to reduce image and attachment loading times.
- SMS communications have been shortened and simplified.
- Environmental Management now supports bulk waste uploads and multiple waste entries within a single record.
- Android navigation has been improved so the back button does not unintentionally navigate users out of the platform.
Why This Matters
Across these updates, our focus remains on reducing administration, protecting users’ work and making Onos faster and easier to use.
From autosave and improved form performance to clearer navigation and faster access to underlying records, these changes will help teams spend less time managing the system and more time acting on the information it provides.
🚀 What’s Coming Next
Our upcoming roadmap continues to be shaped by customer feedback, product roadmap survey responses, and the operational needs we hear from teams using Onos every day.

A digital process for managing permits, approvals and controlled work activities, supporting safer site operations and clearer visibility of authorised work.
- Fleet inspections and directory
